I’ve always enjoyed Sechuan Castle, their food is the closest I’ve found in Edmonton to what I remember eating growing up. Most of the menu is still amazing, but the fried items are quite greasy now. This is the third order where the spring rolls, fried ribs, and fried shrimp were almost inedible due to the excess grease. Overall, I would still eat here, I’ll just be avoiding the fried items. The delivery drivers are always so friendly, as are the employees taking the orders over the phone. My daughter has an allergy to pineapple and they always take that information very seriously and have never let us down in that.

Me and 2 of my friends have been going to sechuan castle for over a decade. The last few months we have gone there the food has been very disappointing. Fir example the broccoli is old, cold and slimy. The potatoes salad is discolored and the barbeque pork is cold and tastes horrific. We want to go back but after at least 4 bad visits I'm afraid to eat there. Can someone please address this problem, it never used to be like this in the past. We pay good money and deserve at least edible food, and do expect compensation for all the times we have gone there and leave with upset stomachs..

Overall everything was good.. found plastic packaging in the chicken and veggies.. nothing serious it was from the vegetables.. still it shouldn't be in the food.

Had my first meal that I did not enjoy. This is my go to for Chinese cuisine and I was disappointed for the first time. Lemon chicken was very tough like it was cooked a second time or overcooked and the beef and broccoli was cold and slimy like the sauce started to gel on the broccoli. I will return but may have to find new favorites.
